NIDETH is an indigenous Talent
hunt program organised by the Niger Delta Development Commission for
youths in the Niger Delta Region (ONDO, EDO, DELTA, BAYELSA, RIVERS, IMO, ABIA, AKWA-IBOM & CROSS-RIVER STATES).
It is designed to identify and harness the rich creativity of the Niger Delta in the
areas of Music, Dance and Comedy.
The project has been designed to run in three (3) live auditioning phases
which are Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3.
First Phase:
6th August, 2022
- Benin, Edo State.
ONDO, EDO, DELTA,
had quite a number of participants who auditioned at Golden Tulip Hotel, Benin City,
Edo state, from which finalists have been selected
for the grand finale on the 1st of September, 2022 in Port
Harcourt, Rivers State.
Second phase :
13th August, 2022 - Yenagoa, Bayelsa State
BAYELSA, IMO, RIVERS,
had quite a massive number of participants who auditioned at Golden Tulip Hotel,
Yenagoa,
Bayelsa state, from which finalists have been selected
for the grand finale on the 1st of September, 2022 in Port
Harcourt, Rivers State.
Third phase :
20th August, 2022
- Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State
(ABIA, AKWAIBOM, CROSSRIVER) states,
had quite a good number of participants who auditioned at
Monty Suites,
Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, from which finalists have been selected
for the grand finale on the 1st of September, 2022 in Port
Harcourt, Rivers State.
The grand finale:

The finalist from the three (3) phases of the auditioning
competed for the grand prize of a Brand-New car, recording deal /Internship training,
performance trip with Harry Song to Dubai and
other consolation prizes. At the end of the contest Elvis Lunar
from Rivers State emerged Winner.
